INTRODUCTION TO AIRBRUSH PAINTING AND DESIGN

This is a 2 hours introductory airbrushing class for beginners, where students will be introduced to airbrush type, structure, maintenance, troubleshooting, air sources, supplies, painting surfaces, and preparation. The students will start with 1-hour instruction on airbrush equipment and basic technique, then move on to a 1-hour demonstration on basic techniques, tricks, and special effects, which are the basis for all types of airbrushing applications. The Do-it-Yourself Airbrush Workshop provides the facilitation for airbrush beginners and enthusiasts to work on individual airbrush projects with professional assistance. This workshop is designed to give a studio-based working environment and encourage participants to design and create airbrush projects based on their interests.

Our studio will provide airbrush equipment, airbrush paints, and a variety of tools with professional assistance to help students develop their creative skills and troubleshoot technical problems. The principle of this DIY Airbrush Design Workshop is to create a platform that supports airbrush learning, DIY making, and idea-sharing encourages everyone to create unique individual expression through DIY airbrush projects.

This workshop does not have pre-requirements of any artistic background or technique skills. It is designed to provide opportunities for everyone to use airbrushes and be confident to enjoy the creative processes.

Introduction to Airbrushing Group Workshop 

This workshop will include 3 main parts:  lecture, demonstration, and practice with the professional assistant.  The class will start with an informative lecture, we will gradually move to the project demonstration and then focus on practice to deliver hands-on experiences to students.   Students will be asked to try different techniques during class time and work on a class project.
